We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use MoodJournal on Apple devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not decompile, reverse-engineer, rent, or resell the app or its content.
You must have reached the age of full legal capacity in your country or region to purchase a subscription or make one-time purchases. Minors may use the app only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for any purchases made through the account.
In-app purchases are also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (standard EULA), available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. For purchases made through the App Store, Apple's terms prevail in case of conflict.
The moods and diary entries you record belong to you. Your diary is stored locally on your device by default; with Cloud Backup (a membership feature) enabled, it is encrypted and uploaded solely for backup and restore (see the Privacy Policy). Please safeguard your device and back up in good time: we cannot recover data lost through device loss, uninstalling the app, or backup being disabled.
MoodJournal is a self-journaling and reflection tool. Its content, including mood statistics and in-app copy, does not constitute medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice. If you are experiencing persistent emotional distress, please seek professional help; in an emergency, contact your local emergency services or a crisis hotline immediately.
The app's interface design, icons, animations, copy, trademarks, and other materials belong to us or their respective rights holders and are protected by intellectual property law. Except as expressly permitted by these terms, you may not copy, distribute, or commercialize them.
You agree not to misuse the app, including but not limited to: interfering with the normal operation of the service, attempting unauthorized access to our systems, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
The app is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections you enjoy under the laws of your place of habitual residence. Disputes should first be resolved through friendly negotiation; failing that, either party may bring proceedings before a court of competent jurisdiction.
We may update, adjust, or discontinue parts of the service. If you materially breach these terms, we may suspend or terminate your access. You may stop using the app at any time and delete your account in the app.
We may revise these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in the app. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
